Photoshop Fun: Fave Quote

This morning, I was extremely tired & lazy. Two very bad combinations. I decided that it was time to get up off my butt, grab my camera and go on a nice nature walk. I had my car started and everything and then thought "Maybe I should check to see my if my camera is charged."

No dice.

So much for that great idea!

So I decided to have some fun with photoshop instead. I've never made a print via photoshop before but I've always been very interested in doing some.

I decided to take my favorite quote of all time and create something with it. I liked the idea of simplicity and this photo is really nothing special but it's my first one so give me a break! :)

Personal Photography: Christmas Decorating

Guys, I'm kind of embarrased to admit but I just learned how to manually take photos in low light settings last night when we were decorating. Ughh, I'm such an amateur! Anyway, now that my admission is out of the way...

I thought I'd share these decorative photos from our very first Christmas tree together. :)

I liked how some of them turned out & I didn't like how others turned out but what can I say? I'm a beginner.

More Fun with Photoshop

I went outside today to take some photos and my god, it was freezing. I guess that's what I get for deciding to make nature photography my new hobby while living in Northern Ontario. Yikes!

Anyway, I didn't really like the photos I took today but I did have fun editing them! I discovered the cookie cutter option and different ways to spice up your fonts!

Sunlight

This photo almost has sort of a artsy feel to it.. like someone drew it.
I like how crisp the colours are with the sunlight peeking through the trees :)
